David Roeber is an experienced project and program manager with over 25 years of collaborative leadership in medical device and telecommunication manufacturing operations.
As an Engineering Manager with a Fortune 100 healthcare company, Abbott Laboratories, David championed environmental compliance within the Diagnostics Division establishing the model for global environmental compliance management.
Accomplishments included developing a product obsolescence and environmental compliance program, leading major site projects, driving the PCB supplier to develop medical device Pb-free compliant assemblies, creating supply chain ownership and integrating material data management.
Participated in quantifying much of the data and cost information submitted by COCIR and AvdMed (medical device industry associations) in consultations with the European Union to justify exemption extensions proposed in Restriction of Hazardous Materials (RoHS 2).
